    Talking June 2008 Brass Monkey

I have scoured, the depths to see if any one has mentioned this one yet, and cant seem to find if apart from someone saying they are going to it.

    So BRASS MONKEY = WOODYBEE's BIRTHDAY.............YEE HAR

Sorry about that, would have burst if I didn't mention it at least a thousand times.

Hey if anyone fancies joining in the piss up in Dunedin on the Friday night, then just tag alone.

2 years ago, was my first Brass Monkey.....and by fuck it was a good laugh, and am chomping at the bit to get to this one.....spent last Brass monkey sunny one's arse in the Isle of Man at the TT.........and did think of the Brass whilst over in the Land Of Blighty I have to admit..................

So if you're interested, skid your pants over to the Tapanyaki Place for a feed and some entertainment, then lets trip the light fandago in one of the many bars on Friday 6th June.........Tis my naughty 42nd, so time to rip up the dancefloor, as Woodybee's coming into Landing at this Rally,

Rally Rally Rally Oi Oi Oi

    Coi for now,
    I love to celebrate,
    no need to hesitate,
Get your arse to the Brass
As its time to Show you have some Class
"I'm gunna hug ya, and squeeze ya, and call ya George!" "Spread the smile and watch it come back at cha" x

Thank you to those who came to the Garstonian Rally 2009, heads up for the 2010 Rally.......

    Cool Bunch of Soft Cocks

How can a weather forecast go up to 4 months in advance?

Who cares how cold it is, it could get cold even on a summer rally. I do agree that the summer rallies are brilliant fun, but to rug up and get talking bollocks round the site, is a right crack.

Would advise those who aren't soft cocks, to grab a thermal roll out mat, and them stick your blow up beds on top, saves the blow ups getting all
    frozen.

I have heard it said that at one Brass Monkey it was that warm that folks were wearing t-shirts!! Lets hope for an unseasonably warm climate at this years one eh.

Coi 4 now, up dancing till 4am this morning, then up at 6, so am so tired, feel like I have been shot in the eyes at the moment, so going to be asleep by 8pm.....Woooooooooooooosey eh.

And a reminder that friday nights a huge birthday pissup in Dunedin.

So you are keen then. Seems to be a bit cold that time of the year for a rally in the middle of the South Island. Don't you think someone could be pulling your leg ?

Ive been to thirteen (first was the 10th anniversary) and only had snow at the rally site on one of those. It's definitely getting warmer - all the old guys will tell you how cold it used to be. Ive seen pics of bikes being ridden on the ice, but I've never seen ice on the lake thats been thick enough to do more than (carefully) stand on.
The rally is ok, but what I really like is the week long South Island ride that it takes to get to and from it .
And yeah, I'll be there again this yeat.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
