Bloody awesome barber at 70 Shortland St. Auckland City

    Hi guys,

I saw Yamahaman's comment about the barber in West Auckland. I also met a bloody awesome barber in the city. I was walking down on Shortland St a month ago. Saw this new Serville Barber shop and also saw this beautiful Yamaha R1 parked outside of the shop. I walked into this barber shop, and found out that it's belong to this barber. So, i went in to have a haircut. I was feeling very tired and due to the stress at work, i didn't shave for couple of weeks. :disapint: Anyway, we chat a bit about the motorbike stuff. He told me that he has owned 4 R1 when he was in Germany and he has been riding for 29 years. Sounds like he's an extreme R1 fan. Well, go back to talk about the hair cut. Man, you can't believe it. After the hair-cut and shave by this German dude, i just feel like i have had an extreme make-over on my face. I have never had such a good hair-cut in my life. I would say he is the Master of the barber. I walked back to the office, my females colleague were keep starring at me the whole time. hahahahahahh...... If you are looking for a primo barber, i will recommend you to go to him. Guarantee you will like the service!!

My barber does a pretty good job, and it's really cheap.

Sometimes he's a bit mental though...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Yeah; guilty.

I dunno what's gonna happen after the last cut (yesterday) though.
Broke 2 teeth of the #2 comb, so the next cut in a few weeks could be a bit crazy...

He charges $25 per hair cut and he didn't charge me for shaving. He also asks me to go back for the fine hair clean-up for FREE. Hey... it's pretty damn good deal. I will never go back to those gay barber anymore.

Bloke I know is big ugly bastard,full-cover tats,no hair,ex-Foreign Legion, bouncer and retired leg-breaker.He works as a barber in town as his day job.His idea of a joke?Arab-looking bloke in the chair,Jimmy pulls out the cut-throat razor and says "wasn`t you crashed that plane into the twin towers was it"? This in a packed city-centre shop, customer wasn`t amused apparently.

Moko, I didn't hear from him about his bouncer job. Anyway, he's small... i wouldn't call someone a big guy if he's only around 170cm. well, for me as long as he gives me a perfect hair-cut with reasonable price, i don't really care about how he looks like or where he came from. The whole story is about..... he's an excellent barber! i will always praise for his service. I have been to those pretty women hair-dressing salon and those gay saloon. It's ended-up given those typical average kiwi bloke's hair-cut and some of them can't even do the fucking hair-cut properly. (don't know how they can call themselve the barber) I made a complaint and i hated my hair-cut... i wouldn't go back to them. Sounds like you have a bit of problem with this barber, Moko?

    Heh.

If you'd been around a while and read Moko's posts, I think you'd realise that that barber was more likely to be someone that Moko would buy pints for...
