What is the best deal for high speed net?

are there any good startup deals from ISP's at the moment, looking at the xtra/orcon 2Mbit 10gig plan but can't be arsed to pay $99 for connection fee when they are probably going to run a promo in the next few weeks, any ideas?

Best advice.....throw a dart at the ISP map and go with that. They all have good/bad points. Personally I'm with Xtra & haven't had any hassles. I run 2 PC's through a router & often have both downloading & am on the phone as well (same line). Call Waiting works too
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Should have gone for the "free connection &b free modem" deal just before Christmas with Xtra -

But - Orcon have a good reputation, and customer service is pretty good. Slightly higher prices than Xtra (cos you are effectively paying Xtra anyways) ....

*shrug* you pays your money and takes your choice really
