So I spose the real question is: do those of us who turned up at Silverdale (that's both of us) according to the plan, and waited and waited, and then went off to the other Silverdale BP, just in case, and waited, and waited, and phoned, and got no reply, and started to mutter darkly about typical KB f*ckup, then shrugged our shoulders and went off to do our own thing, harbour any resentment against those responsible for this organizational shambles?

Nah. We had a great day. Met some new friends, possibly recruited some new KBers, saw no rain, hardly any HP, and lots of bikes on the road. And of course SH16 was as enjoyable as ever despite a little more traffic than usual.

Age is too high a price to pay for maturity

What do you mean, do we?

    OF COURSE WE DO!!!!!!!

But, being good people, we forgive and forget pretty quickly (though perhaps you quicker than me on the latter one, I've got more hair to help keep it in there), especially after a good day's ride anyway...

But it would have been good to meet some of you KBers I haven't met before.... whens the next one?

    Cool

What a great day yesterday. Good to meet some new faces and the ride through Waikato was amazing. Hard to forget ringing the Virago out at 170k and being passed by Death_Inc on one wheel. Some amazing riding. Good fun. Thanks guys, look forward to next time.

Mary came home buzzing from the ride. Talked about getting her own bike. Woke up the next day & the idea had gone away. No she doesn't have a sign on. DOesn't use the PC much. Looking forward to next time...
