And we rode up you bloody Elton John wanna be---

The very last sensible thing I did that day made me leave the bike at the motel as I definately had my drinking trousers on... (my black ones) Christ, I could barely walk!

However, I'm awake and about to put my riding trousers on (curiously, they are also black)... Looks like rain (again) ....

    Hey Frosty,

I'lll be riding all around the Manawatu and Wairarapa today, if y'all see a blue ZZR closely followed by a green VN1500 then that'll be me.

    Have a good one,

    Sedge.

Damn good ride today. Takas, gladstone hill climb road, on to Matsterton, back over the takas followed by paekak' hill. No bins, just good riding in good weather. Interesting to note that the Flying fish cafe was charging 15% public holiday surcharge even though today isn't a public holiday. They can get fucked from now on greedy wankers. Bloody awesome. Glad you made the trip down there Frosty always good to catch up.

Sounds like my old bitch... except we just toss off the odd mirror !!
We're just easier to pass because it's hard to ride and tape shit back on the bike while you're moving !!

Yeah, I'm pretty sore. I've shifted the plates in my shoulder. Thank god I was wearing the race verts because the damage to them shows I probably would have broken my ankle. Celticno6 and I have assessed the damage and at this stage I have a big dent in the front wheel, bent forks, twisted triple clamps, lower fairing is destroyed both sides, headlight ripped completely out of its mounts, top fairing mounts twisted, and front mudguard was wedged into the radiator. Basically not a pretty sight. At least the tree it hit after it went through the railing stopped it going for a flyer down the cliff.

Celticno6 thinks I'm a nutter cause we used the duct tape to put it all back together and then I tried to ride all the way back the way we'd been riding all day.well ya know the storry-if a horse bucks ya ya jump back on again

Angry at myself is not quite the word for it.

After over 400kms of somewhat spirited riding its unbelievable that I binned it at 60km/hr on a bit of road I'd just ridden down.

Oh well motorcycles are just tools for learning. Sometimes you bend the tools.

Guess what guys - my tool is bent. :sly:

Oh fuck mate please tell me your joking. That'll be a terrible end to a good day. Bloody typical charge hard all day have a ball, then ride casual and bin it. Man I'm sorry to hear you arsed off.
