The Hardware Cafe is in Titters (Titirangi) for those of you who arent familiar with it...

There will be 1 or more sexy bikes parked outside it, so you won't have any trouble finding us...

Well, we had a nice cruise, at a leisurely pace, out to Piha and then Huia.

Waiting at the Hardware Cafe were LucyLoo, Yokai and MidLifeCrisis. After fuelling up, we set off, stopping at the Visitor Centre (highly recommended - pop in and have a look, its all new and lotsa stuff to play with, watch and fiddle on.) Milky joins us there and we make like a baby again and head out.

An easy pace out to Piha and a cruise up to the end of North Piha, where we sit and wait for Yokai's girlfriend. Eventually, we get hungry and move to the Piha store and stock up, after getting rid of MidLifeCrisis..... After missing the GF, we decide to head to Huia, so back along Piha Rd. On the way back I spot a familiar TL missing a few vital parts heading the other way. Soon enough, LooseBruce has caught us up again, although I think we bored him a little, and he set off infront....

Said goodbye to Milky at the end of Piha Rd, and we continue back along Scenic Drive to Woodlands Park Rd, then out to Huia. Another stop at the Huia Store, and then back up to Titirangi....

All in all a lot of crap was talked, and a fair few calories consumed, and about 80km or so of riding, jam-packed into an afternoon.....

I'll leave it to the rest of them to insert their takes on the ride, and particularly the yakking....

Categorically do I not state that there was comsumption of ice-cream!

Nice leisurely ride - some good pointers for late apexing and stuff (to minimise the "I can take that corne.... oops" factor. 1 dick in a cage that decided that accelerating as I came past was a good idea, especially as there was a car coming (but maybe I shoulda waited....)

Had a blast - nice to finally meet PT and MLC... And yeah - Milky is definitely not "blond-ISH"....

    Have a cool one guys!

I drove through the Titirangi shops in the cage this afternoon on the way to Whatipu (PT - we didn't get around to going on Friday like I was planning to, you see). Recognised Yokai standing around with his helmet off by the cafe with a couple of other bikes, didn't have enough head-turning time to ID everyone.

Glad y'all had a good time.

Third ride on bike since the ride home from the shop thats all I can say in my defence, but it still was a nice initiation for my first KB ride..

Yep that would have been me. I cant remember if I had time to wave tho  Did you see the two guys a little in front of you? They were fair flying, I suspect I would have been pushed to keep up if I was going that way....I came flying out of corner as they flew in so I didnt even have time to nod to them
