I'm very keen, but my parents are visiting at that time. As such I'm a bit reluctant to start booking a cabin or such - I'm kinda hoping that I'll be able to fit the rally into the programme.
It would ease my mind greatly if I knew for sure whether a car was going down there from Chch where I could fit in tent, mattress and a sleeping bag.

Bring your parents, they can sit with Scumdog. Then they would have someone their age to talk to.

. Just have to see how many from the Mainland , we can muster to bring some culture to this event.

If my parents come along my partner will come along as well - which means I won't have to bring mom outta retirement

However, I think I'd prefer not to have to keep a check on my family - takes valuable attention away from the more important tasks at hand (getting pissed and talking bullshit).
