    Thanks Dafyd although that is kinda the long way around. I was planning on going over the Danseys Pass which should be ok provided the Duke isn't asked to complete any 180 turns.

    There is only a couple of 180 turns... a couple of 270's, quite a few 90's, and then quite a few more.

    Only 50 km's of gravel... 30 either uphill or downhill...

    My works do is on the same weekend so Nighthawk and I will be disappearing for a while on the Saturday night to go to Oamaru.

    I will be taking the car up from Dunedin if anyone wants anything taken up, give me a yell.
