Saturday Dec 13th Ride n Lunch

Oldrider will lead a group ride from Danseys Pass Holiday Park thru North Otago's meandering maze of roads heading South from late morning to arrive at our lunch venue about 1.00pm - 1.30pm.

Luckily I took a punt & booked a lunch date at the Famous "FLEURS" @ Moeraki in July. Although I only booked for 60, Fleur does now know that 70 may turn up. She tells me she is fully booked thru to Xmas.
If you have never been there then this is your chance to enjoy the superb food & surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere.
After lunch we could travel the superb coast road north into the Victorian Precinct pub "The Criterion".
Photo opportunity, then back to camp for an evening of debauchery & decadence !

Just a reminder for Dunediners that are going; I'm taking the car up on Friday for this one, so if anyone wants anything taken up, just let me know.
Nighthawk and I will be away for a few hours on the Saturday evening to my works do in Oamaru but we should be back by 10.
Come and ride the Southern Roads with us.

Ferk I've just found it on a more detailed map ,the free Jasons maps no good for this. This is Brass territory.
I take it they do have electricity. I've got to have somewhere to plug my latte gadget into first thing in the morning.

Keen on doin the ride, is it out to the same place with the Boulders ? Passed it but never stopped. Usual way, I'm afraid. Unless it has a pub, never noticed it.

Moraki actually does have a pub now... plus Fleur's place... its about a km off the main road, turn off at the fishing boat...you will know what I mean when you see it...

The last time I travelled this road, (with NighthawkNZ to the March Hare,) part of it was closed due to some of it falling into the sea. Has this been fixed?

Will this camp handle the expected (70ish) with cooking, abultions etc, or do you have to be self sufficient with gas cookers etc.

    Weathers looking good too.

Welll...No1 son is celebrating his graduation on the Saturday night so may have to dive down to Dunners for that before I can get into the 'celebrating', my head might thank me for the delayed drinking on the Sunday though...
