    For Sale: 1989 Nt650 Bros

Sadly, the old girl has got to go as I cant afford to run 2 bikes.
She's no longer stock standard as I have modified the airbox & exhaust as well as replaced the rear shock with a CBR900 one as this allows adjustment for rebound & compression. Front forks have also been done with 15wt oil,new seals & longer preload spacer. These mods have transformed her & she handles beautifully.
Since Ive had her she's had oil changes every 5000ks,new front & rear wheel bearings as well as a chain tensioner added. New front disk. Uses no oil. Has brand new Michelin Pilot Activs. Rego on hold & will come with a new warrant.
    Good overall condition

Nice bike My old man has one of these, but his is shaft driven. Goes really well and handles beautifully. Good luck with the sale.
(oh, and 2.5 grand is too cheap)

Awesome bike, and good luck with the sale. I wouldn't imagine you'd have much trouble moving it on ;D.

They are pro twins and F3 legal I think. Cheap thrills for someone just as a racebike. they handle, too: a mate of mine had one, and one of the trackdays I went to there was a guy pedalling one very quickly.

I want I want, but Mummy says I am not allowed.... something about new shoes and groceries or some crap.

Aye ,they look a tad slack normally, been told that its a single sided thing & if adjusted "normally" they're too tight when the rear shock compresses & the swingarm is at its longest arc...I have got a tensioner from the States for it now.

Yes I was thinking of racing it, but Im gonna use the R6 instead. I have done 3 trackdays at Ruapuna on her & what a blast!! It may only have 50hp but you can use all of it everywhere, & with the suspension mods it went from a wallowing slag to a taut nubile & I was very surprised at how well it ran rings around many larger capacity bikes in the infield
They're quite a classic in thier own way (first production single sided swingarm) & I wll be sad to see her go,but she's going to waste in the shed.
