    Brand-new Pirelli wets for sale

Surplus to requirements as I have a contract with Dunlop now, otherwise I'd keep em.

They're brand new, never been fitted to a bike.

    120/70 17 front
    180/55 17 rear

    Bloody cheap at $400 ono.

    Is my thinking correct?
My RGV has a standard front tyre of 110/70 17
If I was to put a 120/70 17 on it, the profile would be ? shallower? meaning it wouldn't tip in as much? But that would be a good thing when racing in the wet, as one wouldn't have the bike lent over as much away?

Nah mate, I'd be inclined to say that the extra width of the tyre will have it "squashed" together more at the sides, causing a steeper profile.
