Off all the bikes...I think the Bandit might be the best in the list....

hehe, as for this. the olds don't even approve of me having done my BHS. they don't want me biking. they say it's too dangerous. so, def not gonna get a cent from them. tried to convince them to fund the gear (saying look, i'm getting the bike. if u are concerned about my well then at least help me buy some decent gear so i'm that much safer... ). didn't work at all. dad was like. it's simple. u buy bike, come home. when home, i take keys to bike, and u don't ride bike anymore. saddest part is, that's a very possible thing that. so decided, get lots of spares made, and self fund! haha, such is the way we survive our home-based uni days!

Hah. My parents were not at all keen, but they don't mind now. You're at least 18, tell them to stop whinging, it's your body to smash against a lamppost (if you so desire).

The GPX250 is an ok bike - I don't mind it. Would have preferred an FZR (marginally biased towards Yamaha), but it was hte cheapest one in reasonable condition that I could find. And it's a hefty step up from a GN250, so I'm happy. Sounds a bit funny though compared to the 4s.

the VTR('89) model, squiggles said it was best to steer clear of, for a while. apparently they've been known to have quite a lot of problems.. so, though it's got some appeal, i'll steer clear...plus, i'm really really liking that gpx (ya, may not be the sexiest, but it's a 250, and i like it)
not sexy??...mate thaT bike has awesome handling..ask shingo on the piha ride..that thing has got talent for an inline twin..fuck being sexy when u know u can dunk tht it in the corners......hermm i actually thought the fzr was a great bike to honest..liked it better than the cbr as it felt more sterdy..then again didnt ride it long enough to give a detail report on it...seriously man yer destined for a gpx.!
For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.

Coleman's is the suzuki one, and Red Baron would be a place to check out too. Um wander if and ask if they have any bikes out back which aren't showroom condition for sale kinda thing. Then just go have a looksee and buysee :

    isn't she insured? silly people!

ah, didn't know about that model - my brother had a spada from the same year and was ok bar him not replacing the cam chain that was loose when he bought it - lasted about two years as it got noisier and noisier until it blew up on the way to trade it in - so apart from that little fuckup (entirely his own doing) it seemed a pretty good machine

it's not a question about being insured. she just doesn't want dad to know. and so would rather fork it out her own pocket. plus, dad's pissed off enough about the fact that cars have been hit so many times in the past 5 years, his premiums just get higher and higher. (i'm not to blame, haha, my sist has a knack for hitting or getting hit - and she still thinks she's a better driver than me!)

so that's that. haha. have gotten in touch with some1 up in whangarei, and they'll let me know about the bike. owner wants 3000, so will see how it goes.

I am sure bomma's old zx7r is sitting outside the back of a bike shop ready to be purchased for $1500.
