is the volty a more reliable bike than the gn? or jsut rarer (which would prob make parts a bugger to come across..... hmmm ) so again, i dunno. plus a really wanna just check these ones out too! (they're such cool bikes!!!)
GN is like one of the most reliable, undestractable bike!! I told you about I dropped it 3times and all I had was scratches in levers!!

If you get faird one and drop, you gonna get crack like Ehab's, if you get mullti cylinder it's gonna cost you heaps if anything goes wrong inside. If you get water cooled one, thats gonna be more complicated than air cooled bike too.

Volty is one of the most popular bike in Japan(cheap, reliable, so many parts to cutomise) they call it the 250cc Cub overthere, so why not?

(i just have a thing for the kwakka - most of all the ones on yui's bike sticker collection!!) vtr seems the best buy though, just becoz of what it is and what it can do. hehe, so will see how all goes on friday. if i can arrange a payment scheme with the owner of the vtr, then i may just be getting that (provided all else checks out). as i'm still under for cash. have asked him, but he didn't reply. will see how it goes when i'm there. i can work paying 1000 a week, (initially, 2000 second week, and remainder last week). will see what he says when i ask him again in person tho.

Damn what sort of job is that earns you $1k a week.....haha well main thing is to take it easy when looking at a bike...dont rush into it.....by the way I think so far you have not test ridden any bike eh? Haha....maybe this week might be your lucky day....pretty sure you gonna fall in love with the VTR...clucky gearbox, v-twin power, 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds...and the list goes on...

the gn is fine for reliability in the sense that squigs has got rebuilds down to 20minutes, but i don't like them - i reckon you're better off with the fxr myself

volty is the same engine as the GN isn't it?

    just buy the vtr!

ok. but i really want to give the gpx a look. i really don't know why, but a just like the kawasakis.. (we all have our affinity to one brand or the other). haha. job.. got 1grand on person. am owed the mother of all backpays (that comes through net week-end), and in the space of the next 2 weeks, i would have made another 1000 at work! haha.... it's called lots of hours in the hols.. seven 9am-9pm shifts a week if possible! haha... just to make up for the semester that was an that shall be!

but again, yea... the vtr looks most reliable, so it all comes down to bike's condition, and if the owner accepts my payment scheme... it's not like a hire purchase, where i'm going over a period of years, it's just an extension on buying it by a little bit... plus, i obvously won't have the bike till it's paid off.. so no worry there either

we shall see, coe friday (my first day of testin out teh bike!!) - haha, will i even be riding it??? - mayb haha.

Goodness 12 hour shift is that legal? haha (i do that all the time too). Well your payment scheme is more like laybuy...pay in installment before taking possession of the good.

But in your case if he accepts your terms you can just say I'll pay you a $1000 deposit now and the rest in 3 weeks before taking the bike. Draw up a written contract to cover your arse in the event he sells it to someone else or crashes/damages the bike in that 3 weeks that he will return you your deposit plus a compensation for the time/hassle (usually compensation rate is something silly like 50%). That is how I do it in some of my business contracts...makes them think twice before wanting to renege on any contract.

Thats alright matey, I would never race you and if you did overtake me I don't think I would be that heartbroken. I'm not a speed demon haha. Doesn't matter though, the "when" is probably years off .
