276, holy crap, u'd be more subtle trying to sell me a coffin instead. dude, i'm still a learner - lower than the diaper dressing, training wheeled trikey type of a biker. haha.

    bomma:

so what u guys looking to sell them for? (and i'm still praying u both don't mean yur 900's )
hey bomma, is your bike the cb250 on trademe, with the pics taken at piha? (torn up exhaust cover) think kyle mentioned it. as i said yesterday, budget's been dropped.. silly boy racing kids, letting my sister hit them, and charging her for their stupid front bunper to be fixed up, costing me my bike sponsorship money. (what's that? u're gonna drop the price to fit into my range perfectly??? really?). haha. in any case, what u looking for? (both of u). if i can afford it i'd prob buy it.

also, i've contacted the dude with the red + white zzr, off trademe. (the one in new plymouth). it's gonna be up for another 2 weeks, so i can't be guarenteed, but if it's still up there after my last paper i'm planning to go down and check it out, so most likely head down 26th or 27th(haha, see, not a pansy). there was that and a few other bikes down there within the budget. still to contact the other owners tho.

here's the zzr link again, if u wanna refresh and see it again.

    What the????

That ZZR looks pretty cool but do make sure that for the price is he gonna put some rego on...what's the state of the tires? I wonder why the odometer digits seem to be out of line?? Original colour must have been red so what's the reason for the new paint scheme... Price seems good at $3300 if everything checks out

haha.. yea, he said he'd do the rego for me. good point on the digits. will maybe ask him next time i call up. they didn't say too much when i asked about the paintjob. he said it had been dropped, when a mate was down the driveway, and tried to turn too quickly. said the bike didn't slide tho, and there was bit of scratching. did the paintjob to go with the new fairings they put on.. he said it didn't get damaged while he had it, so i take it the prev owner (his friend) may have dropped it and cracked a fairing?-not sure otherwise. will do all the checks to see if k's and stuff are legit (the check list that was put up on this thread a bit earlier).

good luck finding a 250cc jap bike that old that's got legit ks

they may be good in NZ, but they most definetley get wound before shipping over here

and then there's the trick of unplugging the speedo to stop the ks being counted

being crashed isn't an issue provided there hasn't been any major damage and i's all repaired and flys straight - again you'll be hard pressed to find a genuine "never crashed" 250

the trick is to know what's wrong when you pay for it, and hopefully knock the price down a bit
