    There probably isn't.

    Mechanical bits and bobs tend to be pricey. Vehicle maintenance costs money. There often isn't a good way to get around it when work is needed on the engine. Spare string and epoxy filler don't hold up to well at 15,000rpm.

    From what I've been told, the Zeal's engines are actually the same as those from FZ250R's which are an older kinda bike, different to the FZR250.

    Aha, that's interesting.

    Brett (??) at Spectrum opined that the engine was identical to the FZR's, but... meh. He could indeed have been wrong. Certainly the Zeal doesn't quite have the same power as the FZR.

    I wonder just how different they are.

    Why don't you try Magua's CDI in your bike and see what happens jrandom?
