I had the Eggs Benedict and a savoury bacon/tomato muffin. I love the flying fish I personally think it was from some sausages and bacon I had at home that afternoon. Even the thought of those bloody sausages almost makes me

Going out for a beer would make it impossible to sit and home and wallow in my own selfpity, posting bitter and arguementative posts on the site

Yeah, sounds like a possiblilty, where did you have in mind, central Wgtn? Jeez, I can't believe I'm talking about drinking beer, while I feel so deathly sick I'm taking it that the poisoning will have left my system by "then"

That was the point! Just bowl up to Southern Cross/Zebos one night after work this week.

    I'll PM my number.

(And get you drunk so you can't even remember what self pity means0

And doesn't coolant make your tyres go soft anyway?

    Sure

Thank small mercy's that I don't have to work till next monday, or I'd have gone psycho btw, I'm not actually sitting at home wallowing, things could always be worse, look at Tony for example (GO to the doctor Tony!!!).

It's strange how things work out. If I hadn't got stoned, maybe something worse WOULD have happened to me? Or, if I had ridden over with Cathy and Ola, I would never have gotten stoned in the first place. (I am talking about the radiator, not a certain tobacco!). I just sure would like to see the blue prints this is all working from

SX, or Zebos, sure, I'll first find where they are (I know I've been told in a previous thread ages ago, but I've never been and since forgotten), and then pick a night, and let you know. Maybe we could make it a semi organised piss up (within reason)?

    Haha Celtic

I was talking about Hayden and his bike... If we start comparing fat guts, I'd need the new turbine powered bike to overcome mine :spudbooge

Not a fun way to end a ride. At least you had a gang of KBers to keep you hang out with while you waited round though. Sorry Dave - if I'd known you were still at the FFish when we were heading back up the hill, I would have come down too.
Is it going to set you back much to get it fixed up?

Stonchucker frosty suggested you might want to talk to Celtic#6 about your radiator.ZSomething about quickmetal.
Ohh Sorry i've now got to quote him!!!!!
Use 1000 grit sandpaper and sand the area of the radiator thats damaged untill its shiney. Mix up some quickmetal and put it on and around the hole.
Your radiator doesnt run very high pressure so the quickmetal will last ages.

    Thanks Pillion

I might just take it in for a little TLC from the pro's, it's due for a service soon anyway...

Velox, I have no idea, I'm hoping not too much. Guessing between 500 and a grand.

    Well

I know nothing when it comes to bikes. How do you sand the radiator when you can't get to the area where the hole extends into? (Inside the grid pattern). So, if it's not sanded, I take it the Quickmetal won't bond properly to the metal, making it prone to leaking at some inopertune time, and I don't think VTWIN will be too happy to come and pick me up again out in the wops.

Also, I heard the radiator is pressurised or something, and should have no air in it? There would surely be air in it from the leak. Finally, how the hell do I get the chewing gum outta the radiator? Yes, I stuck some in, in an attempt to make it back to Martinborough

Whaddya all think? (peanut butter only removes bubblegum from hair, not radiators )

    Re your Rad

Hey SC, sorry to hear about your radiator, same happened to me on 22, road it home, about 30 ks, then spent a fuckin day gettin the dam thing out!

My advice is get it fixed properly, It only cost me NZ$30.. to get a pro radiator dude to fix it and garantee(sp?) the work.

I figure given the long distances I ride from home I don,t want it to spring a leak.

The only down side it took me about a week to get the fucker back in the frame, but thats cause Ia'm bad tempered and impatient.

Cajun gave me a web link thingy for a crowd in the US who make a custom guard for about A$120....must get around to getting one.

    Anyway good luck Man.
