I'll be out and about just look out for my Dark Blue 08 Triumph Sprint.
I think it's the only one of it's colour here at the moment.

I not sure where I'm going but will be here and there as I want to finish running it in. (300K's)

Could end up at the Greta Valley Pub some time.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Akaroa ride on a week end?
you may as well ride the center of a town
As much as the hill from little river to akaroa is a really good ride, it is normally full of slow cagers and tourist on a weekend, which IMO makes it a risky ride when there are better roads with less traffic to play on.
You only have to look at the amount of riders who have come to grief on the hilltop to see my point.
But in saying all this enjoy the ride as its a really good one , especially between 9am - 2pm mon - fri ...90% less traffic

You can come to grief anywhere, helped a rider through the lewis yesterday that had come off. Yes there are better places , time, family and free days do restrict decisions subie. Don't lecture a truckie on cages. I'm off to enjoy the day

A group of us did Akaroa yesterday and we were all suprised at the lack of traffic on the road, maybe it's a winter thing? No boats etc.

I'd put down to fuel prices.

Had a wee ride to Lit. River for a cuppa and breke.
Seemed there were more bikes on the road than cars.

Good ride, fark all traffic , passed 2 cars from little river to akaroa. guess with higher fuel prices people will be doing less day trips out and about in the weekends.

Well we, that Subike and Skidmark had a nice sunny ride around his block.
So bike is now ready for it's first service and 20k's over.
Just as well we went the shorter way.

Is ya speedo in miles or kms? see ya said something about 300k run in. thought it was a bit low. Doing a oil change on mine tonight ,just clicked over another 3000 miles today. Brent would have clicked up a few miles on his new beast as he commutes in every day to chch.
