    Slip on can

#$#@!$%#!$!$#!$ Well i was noticing a bit of drag on the top end of the revs and so when i took a look at the can i find that middle thingy has com loos at one end and so is now the exit hols is well halved sorta. Anywho i cant get at it because after taking the can off i realise that is it welded inside the thing and the oly way to get at it is to cut open the can. I have a few ideas as to how i can fix this but first i want to see how much an old slip on will cost etc. Anyone got any ideas??

KK how did you ....."make" yours hahaha

To be fair to the others who might be technically challenged, he should really have warned us by putting "(technical term)" after each of the technospeaks, then had a footnote explaining them.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

[Pedant alert] I suspect you mean "slip-on can" (a name) rather than "slip on can" (a safety instruction).

    Isn't punctuation marvellous!

That's possibly because his Swirling Vortex of Zeal was also subject to a "middle thingy has com loos at one end" (technical term). So, he has some sort of empathetic (or is the 'em' redundant?) response to your sorry story.

Yeah, except that my middle thingy commed loos at BOTH ends.

Actually, it was Blakamin's middle thingy. But I prefer not to think about which end Blakamin's middle thingy coms at, loose or otherwise.

It is so good to see so much tech knowledge coming to the fore to help a fellow biker in need.
bet he is glad he posted a good question and did not waste time on anything trivial

    Not quite.

Empathetic and empathic are two different words. They are both adjectives of Empathy. The first is the most traditional one, where the second is often referred to in the psionic sense a la Counsellor Troy in STNG. They can be used interchangeably though.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

He wants something cheap, and good, and quickly, and there is no such beast. We're trying to avoid saying it.

Dude your best bet is the wreckers.

Shouldn't you interchange 'first' and 'second', there?

Dont worry, I stress not, it was all rather amusing to read, why some even mentioned the topic once
