I need to get a measurement of the extended length of the rear shock for different models(centre of eye to centre of eye).

Try PM Stevo. The lucky bugger just picked up a CBR600 dirt cheap which he said he whold fix and give to me

THE ABOVE LINK IS WHERE YOU FIND THE INFO. WHEN IT SAYS LENGTH IT IS EYE TO EYE LENGTH I HAVE USED THIS MANY TIMES ITS BEEN ACCURATE WITH MY BIKES SO FAR

No,just lift the rear up and lay a ruler up the side of the shock...
