But apparently very slow at driving a sidecar ....... well thats according to kiwifruit

I have a friend (sort off) that has a friend who works for sky sport. He mostly covers the taga rally etc so will ask him to put a word in to say that there is rumours of this event happening and maybe ...... and its is long shot...... we will have some tv time.

I am currently trying to organise either TV, speedboxtv or DVDs for the 2 day Taupo Road Race Spectacular. Believe me, there will be some sort of coverage!!
As for the endurance races, I'm not sure at this stage - trying to keep costs lower for the riders.

Oh yes its on!! Track, ambos, food etc. all booked!!
As for length, single rider etc, I want feedback from the riders on that.
I currently see it as a 90 min race for F3 etc, and an up to 4 hour race for F1/F2. (Remember track hire times are only 7 hours). I would also see it as a team (2 rider) event.

    Please, I need input everyone.
Can anyone interested in this event please PM me with your expression of interest, and also your thoughts. There have been some great ideas so far, but I need more input, so I can say I've heard it from the masses!!!!

We, the Bucket riders would be keen for an endurance event too. Can't see that fitting into the current programme. Combined with the Streetstocks maybe?

yes indeed, the bucketeers would all be keen...
If we are up for the Taupo 2 day, might as well do an endurance event as well, makes the costs of getting across the water viable.

Entry forms aren't too far away guys. Just waiting for MNZ final sign off.
Buckets (F4 & F5) are having their GP on the afternoon of day 1 (Sat) Race length dependant on numbers - but probably 30 mins.
    Hope this helps!
