PMCC run an entire series there, and VIC club did their first round there this year, normally it's first and last rounds.

    Hey,
i have looked at setting one up at Manfeild - i have also spoken to MNZ and there is nothing really stoping anyone running an event. They wouldnt tell me anything about Refueling, rulz regs etc.

I looked at runinng f1 and f2 together - F3 and Pro twin, over 2 days. With Le Mans start - no Qualifying needed. I was looking 2, 4 hour races.

Buckets would just be painful! if your only going to have 1 day then i would say no but im not a bucket racer. if u must then add 150s to it.

So it would be 3 races on one day - maybe 1 hour for buckets and 150s then 2 hours f3 / pro twin then 3 hours F2and F1 that gives you 6 hours racing.

    start at 930 buckets to 1030 then at 1100 F3/pro twin till 100pm then at 130pm F1 and F2 to 430?

Let us know if you need any other info or help. would be a great event

the Airforce does 50cc - 6 hour race its awesome.

I thought this may suit competitors that have travelled over here, to stay 1 more day, and get to race and/or watch an endurance race.

Chris Lawrance and I are keen to run the event, with lower entry fees as per our meeting, with trophies for top placegetters, and trophies for classes within classes. The track would be the long track, and classes would be what YOU the racers wanted. The length would also be what YOU the racers wanted. I would like to have two separate races on the 1 day, a longer race for over 600's maybe, and a slightly shorter race for F3 etc. (open to your ideas).

Can interested peoples please reply to this thread, and if there are enough genuine entries, then we will proceed with the event. 3 great days of motorsport action - petrolhead heaven!
As I have always stated, I would love to see an endurance race, and if I can make it happen, I will.

i think a riders should be able to choose wether they could do the event on there own or with partner as you should know your own ability

I agree. Is there an option to do the endurance race alone?

Ive noticed a club endurance meeting here in Melbourne run combined classes eg sbike ssport f3 together, then you can choose 1 bike 1 rider, 1 bike 2 riders, 2 bikes 2 riders. Compulsory stops etc. It would be good having the flexiblity to suit everyones situation?

Buckets at lunchtime. Then the hard old bastards who tell us they raced their nortonwankelmesserchmits round the nurburgring for 12 hours solo can ride their SV650's in both races.
