Just a short note...
The trip was (eventually) pretty good. After an extra couple of nights in Auckland (2 extra in the hotel and 1 on the boat tied to the wharf) we got underway on our shortened cruise. The itinerary got changed and we went to Noumea and Isle of Pines instead of Fiji and Tonga. Hired scooters in Noumea and tripped around the place for the day. Isle of Pines is an island... that has pines on it... and very little else. Met some great people, had a blast and didn't feel like getting up for work this morning...
Notes to remember when going on a criuse;
There is more food than you can eat - you will NOT go hungry!
It's a boat - you can't get up and go for a ride on your motorbike.
Alcohol will cost ya - in your pocket, not just the next day.
