    NZSBK Regs

Hi all,I read recently that Paul Pav thinks that we should change our SBK rules so they are more Superstock based than what we have, almost sounded like the old Open Production rules of the late ninties early 00's.
I personaly think that that sounds ok,please someone and I'm sure you will if I'm wrong but did'nt they change the rules to make it easier to race in Australia if we had simalar rules to them?.Apart from stroudy a few years back nobody has been and done that and the aussies ride NZ prepared bikes here now anyway. What do you think??
    Anyhoo thats all for now

I thought we already made moves in that direction with last years change to standard pistons only, or was that only talked about and not implemented?

good idea to make them more affordable to build.a lot more people would race them.i would love to race a thou but they are just way to expensive to build up.I think thats why the 600s are so popular.you can get a 2nd hand one for 13 grand thats capable of winning..

If you wanted to make them cheaper I think the only way is to move to control tyres, like IRC touring tyres

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
