You done anything with the 1000L pipes yet? If you're really bored, would you like to restore my 1100GK for me?

Dependant on the weather I will be heading up to Hamilton on Fri arvo and then on to Auckland Saturday morning. Obviously my weather call is going to have to be made on Friday.
Looking forward to it.
the long term forecast certainly isnt for a dry and warm sunny day
but, i guess, if we do get cold and wet, that hot shower after the ride is only going to be that much more enjoyable![]()

Bollocks!... I have personally looked into the matter and can confirm with certainty that the weather is clearing late Friday and it's going to be a dry sunny (but nippy) Saturday morning with clouds returning in the later afternoon and a possibility of light showers developing in the evening.

Well what a day, rode from south Auckland to Albany in pouring rain. Meet up with a die Hard bunch of old bike riders, who arrived axactly on time and wityhout fuss we took off.psyguy lead us off and we went for miles on some damn fine roads, rain with us all the way but still no drama's. Our fianl destination was warm and welcoming and a pint of their finest went down well before we all scarpered for home.
Thanks to Alive for his help when after our ride I got a flat tyre just before the beginning of the northwestern.
He made sure no one collected me from behind while I rode about a half a mile using counter sterring to keep the bike on the road to the Repco there.
A Pando application and I was home, cheers again Alive.
Great ride guys love to do another soon.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Damn, i had you guys in my rear view mirror at first but then you disappeared. As Alive took off before the rest of us, i actually had doubts if it was really him in my rear view mirror with you caseye. And as i dont know where you live / where you were headed, i didn't think twice about why you two suddenly disappeared.
I wish i had turned around and checked!
Glad to hear all went well in the end.
A timely reminder for me to carry a bottle of that fix-a-flat-tire stuff!

Good ride and a pleasure to meet some more bikers...

Definately keen on the next ride
Live for today just in case someone decides to ruin your tomorrow
sorry I couldnt make it today, I am moving workshops and had the hoists and compressor to wire up.
I will definitely attend on the next ride though, good to see its a sunday![]()
Thanks to the guys who came along. Great to see your bikes getting out there... some nice examples of their kind and it was nice to see all your smiley faces. looking forward to doing more miles with you... Cheers

I'll be there with 'Two' new tyres and a tyre pando, by the way Repco Of Swanson are a great bunch of people who helped me out quickly and courteously .
Would recommend them to anyone.
Ps.Alive, thanks again and I'll measure em up and let you know.
