Sorry to hear that mate but as jmk said i too hope you recover fast and get back on the bike asap.
Well teh West pac rescue chopper Ride was a great success, I estimate at least 1000 bikes showed up today, many and varied they were too.
Meet up with and or saw 5 of the Blast FromThe Past Riders, so I know we are still out there.
Time everyone to get back posting here with ideas for the next ride.
I'd suggest a ride from the North West side to South with a meet up with the Waikato Laxed Out Riders somewhere about Mercer or a bit further south, lets be having some replies.

well It's about time we took a ride ladies and gentleman.
How about a south Auckland jaunt, perhaps a bit of Tuakau, Pukekohe,Patumahoe, Waiuku, Aka aka and to finish down a bit further to the Muddy at Mercer.
Meet, Papakura Southern Motorway BP Station in fornt of the Autodahn cafe.
Sunday the 29th of March, thats this Sunday folks.
Arrive by 9.30am for a 10 am start.
Should finish approx 1pm at the Muddy, if we stop for a coffee or a pit stop somewhere.
I will Post this notice in the events page this minute.
    C ewe all there.

What a fantastic day for riding! though we had just three riders today we went everywhere we'd planned to go and enjoyed some good coffee at the Village in Patumahoe and a fine luncheon at the Muddy in Mercer upon completion of our days ride.
The roads were clean and dry and there was no wind to speak of, traffic was minimal on the roads we used(hardly on main or arterial roads all day) and the long straights and tight corners encountered made for interesting riding.
Average pace was probably 90K's per hour with occassional spurts to make sure everything was working just fine!
Those of us who attended today are definitely going to meet again in 1 months time and though our route will differ we're sure we will have another great day in the sun, having fun.
    Pity you all missed it.

sounds like you had a great day!

now, take a load of this...

i finally take the time and make the effort to put the brakes together.
all nicely cleaned, powdercoated, chromed bolts, ss lines, etc...
take the bike for a test ride and happy with the results.
a few days later with a grin on my face start the bike intending to go get a new wof and rego.

    what do i find?

    the front calipers leak!

i have just ordered the rebuild kits, hopefully they're here soon, and hopefully that sorts out my probs...

    until then... safe riding everyone
