Hope you can turn on a day like we had to ride to Taihape today, a small group ( 8 bikes) left Fernhill at about 9 am first proper stop at Kuripappanga, a club stalwart and one of the Bar Managers waiting for us with a Port and some freshly cooked trout, then onto Taihape for pie an pint. 1-30 leaving forr return trip primo ride back , a excellant day for riding with great company.

Very cool. Fingers crossed on the weather, though the long range forecast on Metvue looks promising. Couple of nice looking Zukes there

Good news! Another Napier lad is coming up for the ride. He is a member of another bike forum that I joined and when prompted with the ride details has responded...

"Thanks for the invite to your anniversary ride. The fact that two other Napier GS riders are going has swayed my decision. If the weather is looking anything other than rat shit, I will be there.

I have met Mark (Wickle) a couple of weeks ago. He didn't say anything about the anniversary ride (Naughty Wickle) . He does actually own MANY GS and GSX bikes. (Ok all forgiven)

My sign up to Kiwi Rider is long overdue. I'll take care of that this week. You can then list me as #14.

    Cheers
    Ian"

Dang! The way it's going we will have more Napierites than Jaffa's

you bloody legend flying croc! sounds like its shaping up to be a geat weekend..we know quite a few guys n gals down this way with bikes of
this era weve been trying to lure into coming up..but it is a bit tricky for
some to get away from work and other commitments etc but we
may be able to recruit them for any up coming summer rides...?
