Had planned to leave in morning, rain not the problem just wind one report said strong gusts might ring Mark to get up date in morning
Boys can't ride broken toys.
this is from metservice:
Heavy rain should spread south during Saturday morning and not ease until Sunday. Up to 150mm of rain is possible in northland, especially about the eastern hills from Whangarei northwards. For the Rodney District north of Warkworth, Great Barrier Island, the Coromandel Peninsula and Kaimai Range up to 120mm is likely.
Gale force easterlies are forecast to develop at a similar time to the heavy
rain, turning southeast during Sunday. Damaging gusts of 120 to 140 km/h are
possible during Saturday and Sunday, especially about the higher ground of
Northland, Auckland, Great Barrier Island and the Coromandel Peninsula, as well as about the Hauraki Plains.

I hadn't looked a forecast since Thursday, when it said Friday and saturday, shitty Sundy clearing, but that last report looks nasty. You got me number aye wickle? Try the home one first mate.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Looks as though it's moving slower and due to hit around midnight tonight but will hang around for longer on Sun. 120-130km winds forecast for this afternoon in advance of the front.![]()
the forecast from this morning is pretty much the same... heavy storm hitting later saturday and clearing only from sunday afternoon.
i'm thinking to postpone the "big" ride for finer weather, hopefully one of the coming weekends.
if the weather does clear by sunday afternoon, perhaps whoever is available and keen could meet for a short ride on a short notice, like caseye suggested ? (i would be in for that one).
caseye, you care to update the callendar accordingly?
ps. shame about the peeps from napier, we keep missing meeting you guys in person![]()
Bruno
