Could make it a passage of rite to drink a cup at the halfway point of each ride.

A bonding thing... in a queer sort of way

Not sure about this bonding thing you speak of Flyingcroc.

Sad about the weather on Sunday, but good news for me. I should be able to travel north with the other Napierites, for the 30th Aug. Sounds like Wickle and Fridayflash have committed to this date too. All's good.

Alrighty then!So the Npierites are a coming up cool.
Dieseldick, you really have to have had a cup of Max Headroom's Licorice tea before you could even begin to understand th meaning behind the right of passage statement.
Ol Croc looked pretty green after that beverage, but he did swalla it!
Nick no offence mean't or intended mate.
It was most appreciated at the time and got us both safely back to civilisation.
Na I don't think we should make it mandatory Croc.Optional maybe, for those brave hearted souls.
Damn fine sipping licorice it was an all, in my humble opinion.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of names on that ride thread folks.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

All this talk of coffee, tea and muffins....seems a far cry from the old days...maybe we need to change our bikes to cafe racers...instead of grog sloggers...mind you i took the bike for a run up to the Puhoi pub...and the wind on that new motorway was wild......needed a hot drink when i got there!!

Caseye, I'm not knocking the licorice tea. I like licorice, but I'm not sure what it will do to the taste of my beer.

I was more concerned by Croc's reference to "bonding, in a queer sort of way".

Hey, looking forward to meeting you lot too.

Speaking of bikes falling off platforms After seeing your platform I had to get one for the sake of my knees and back... I'm gonna be able to zip around the sucker in a comfy 'chair on wheels' while I think of other excuses to be lazy
