I could make a few phonecalls and prove you wrong, but look what happened last time...

Colin- are you collecting fairings at the moment? What the hell are you going to do with that enormous 'thing' ?
I would have paid you double that just to get it off the section so I dont have to mow around it.

Political correctness: a doctrine which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd from the clean end.

i would't mind being proven wrong. if you're talking about period-correct bikes, that is.

Any Guzzi made between 1976 and 1992 is period correct, they did not actually change anything from the basic bike they started with, just kept punching it out but still the same bike, same frame, same 18' wheels. And then wondered why no one was buying them any more. and nearly went out of business- a mirror of the British bike industry but with longer lunch breaks and vino.

I might bring one other along, I have ridden with him before and he is fine, his bike's a 1980...

sounds like my XS650......the basic motor never changed in the 20 odd years it was in production...which is good for parts but bad because people keep chopping them around and it is hard to find one with the original motor in the original frame...

He's got too much surplus power, so he's trying to weigh it down. Just buy a GK and be done with it!
Motorcyclists are like pilots..... There are old ones and bold ones. But there aren't any old, bold ones.
