thinking of our napier friends, i was relieved to see the weather settled a bit this morning compared to the downpour last night.
hope wickle and DD have a good trip back home, if "a bit windy"

let us know how it went, guys. it was very cool to have you ride with us!

Psyguy and Flyingcroc, thanks for the great hospitality and a well organised ride. Excellent pics and vidoes Croc. Caseye, thanks for putting up Wickle and keeping me on track around the bid smoke.
We made it back to Napier, a little sodden. Started raining at Putaruru and continued until Tarawera. I was glad that I had the naked ride as the wind was pretty savage between Tokorua and Taupo. Looking forward to seeing you at our BFTP summer ride.

Dieseldick is a bit light on the sodden part just out of Putaruru I could see the beam of my light in the rain and when a truck went past going the other way I lost sight of him because of the spray even thou he would have only been 40 metres in front of me. OHH by the way we got seperated going into Taupo and lost each other for hal an hour,, see I"M honest,, about most things.

    Anniversary ride video

approx 3 and a half minutes of footage which starts off catching up to the group. Approx 6 bikes in front going through some nice curves.

    Enjoy
