    Wow! Wickles, you got a gem there mate. Original pipes an all.
    Won't take much spit and polish to shave 20 years off her. Actually that's not true cause she already looks well less than half her age

    I bet you like that seat eh! They did a good job of shaping it and must have got near 2 inches off the height.

    spit and polish did that in the seventies, me boots shone,if can get warrant and reg sorted this week, might ride to Wellington ,, found a new set of shocks in my parts bits

    Lets see.... a couple of years ago I took my Kombi from Napier to Taihape....that was a 'fun' road.
    I can't see you can meet up that easily Caseye, The 'main group' are decending on Palmy so it could get VERY busy.
    A post this morning suggests 6000 bikes riding thru the gorge on the 17th.

    We however will be sipping Lattes on Lampton Quay.....admiring Baz.

    makes sense to me. at least til you get audited by the ird . but i guess you could tell them it was us the bftp guys who told you it was all right to claim the trip as a tax deductible expense
