We did thanks YT, was a damn fine mornings work, all that speechifying, breakfast eating, fat chewing and bike parking and Mr Plod right across the road taking it all in and leaving us alone cause we was doing it right.
We had more than a few of our Social Group there and we'll be at the next ones too.Welly was also attended by more than 10%(11 STICKETED members of the KB, BFTP social group)) of the BFTP social group from all over both Islands.

    Coro Loop

    AWESOME

    What a great day out.
I really liked Dodgys Guzzi....what a coooool machine.
.....and apparently the rear brake, if I had used it ,works one of the front ones too.....
Toaster misbehaved on the long flat bits either side of the Coromandel with a constant missfire....all the way up the friggin' motorway
Goes away at less than 80kms.....
Still on the upside got 50+ MPG.

It was tre`magnifique. I had a great time. Especially the Oysters

Once we were past the motorway and Hauraki plains it was all beautiful windy roads leading to more windy roads which lead to even more windy roads. For the most part the road conditions were very good and the coast line was amazing. It's almost a pity we were whizzing through it so quick

Man did I get bug splattered

The Toaster afforded fine vistas of the passing landscape......but with the Panini the world whizzed by....

A truly amazing ride today jenneleman, great to have 9 bikes on the start line so to speak.
Guess we can actually say that the BFTP has conquered the coro loop once and for all.
Note for all adventurers going a long way from home, put in one of those cans of slimey stuff for making tyres round again.
The old coal burner loved those hills and the windy bits, never missed a beat, tyres both now officially scrubbed in and working well.
    Bring on Taumaranui.
