At 165 arm stretching is only starting...

A Ducati shock may cost several body parts (unless it is knackered)
My fork preload is 5 x $2 coins in each leg and preload on 2.
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.

    Expensive...............................

My LC has 2 x 20c coins on each leg, and I made some preload adjusters

How can I compete you tightwads......... when I'm such a victim that I spent $180 on a left side control assembly (my repaired one is glitchy) and a complete wiring loom (mines been butchered for oem instrument restoration purposes) only to find that the control hasn't got the choke lever and the loom isn't the same as the picture he sent... and less than quarter of the connectors match.

I haven't got the skills to deal with this electrickryshit. Fortunately Voli's gonna have a look at if for me to see what is salvageable. Once I know what's what I will deal with the seller.

I ain't going to be able to afford to invest hard cash in my forks after this... It'll have to be stolen plastic pipe or layers of dead credit cards.

Old guzzi diff oil in your forks, You could wipe and up use the excess of bikemads rear wheeland some old galv pipe as spring spacers.................

    See croc, easy as that

Bugger about your new loom, doesnt really help the repairs with crap like that throw in the mix mate

Guzzi oil you say? Must be the floaters that thicken it up eh!

Update on Loom saga. I checked the instrument conections and even they don't match so sent the seller an email. Just got email back from him.

"Mate...I've done some dumb things in my time....and this is up there with the best on them...!!!!! Sorry I had on hold a Katana loom, and yours...yep I sent you a Katana one....I will send up the correct one with choke lever and a return courier bag ...Mate apologies

    Regards
    Barry"
Have got Voli on stand down till I see what sort of shape we're in when the right loom gets here. Crisis averted

Nothing special in the email. He simply did the right thing....... as one might expect from a seller charging premium prices.

Since I do not know how to post pictures in the Group section I have put it here. Trina thinks you are all such wonderful people (choke choke) and after being on the 2 rally's held so far and not having a BFTP bike she's decided she needs one. Thanks Rachel for showing her the light.

So here it is coming to a rally near you soon (If we get it up and running good enough. Needs a bit of work) Dodgey - you moved in yet?? I promise I will bring a couple of cans of coke when we come looking for your help!!!

WoooooHoooooo Cool choice of bike. Trina will be the real deal now eh!

Jase. No real progress apart from a little bit of paint stripping and cleaning. Gotta pull finger and start ordering parts. Maybe if they start piling up I will get all enthusiastic and have a decent spurt.

I think 'Lethargic' is the word you are thinking of.
