Details as below .
Mystery Creek Field Days Hamilton Sunday the 14th June 2009.
Meet at the BP on the Southern Motorway at Papakura.
Outside The Autobahn cafe.
Arrive at 9.30am, for a 10am start.
Ride down to Hammy. pick up the boys and girls from down there, they can tell us where.
Then on to Mystery Creek and the Field Days.
Enjoy a day wandering about the many displays etc and either ride home as you need to leave or as a group depending on numbers.
Then I was thinking maybe the next date should be the PUHOI Farmers Market on teh 28th June!
Again any takers?

Generally if your bike is younger than 1990 it doesn't qualify for these runs, we don't habitually break the speed limit and we don't pass on double yellow lines , so if you ARE that way inclined, ride with another group is my suggestion.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Not to forget the link to the sign up thread for the Mystery creek ride on the 14th

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
hey Murray, cheers for the heads up, I've just replied to you in both threads and in personal inbox, disregard the OKO thing then as you guys have it scheduled for next week, but yes a meet up somewhere sounds good.

Well me an the flyingcrocodile46 went out to play when only mad men and Englishman would.Cheers for the Licorice Tea? yep I said "licorice" Max, a pleasant stop and as always funny as to see the look on someone who hasn't been to your Palacial garden shed, ay Croc.
Off to the Rangiriri for lunch but No, they had no eftpos so we trundled back up the motorway to the Muddy.Onewhero , Tuakau and then home.Rain all day but we hardly got wet.
Cheers mate oh and Voltaire nice to see you at the start line, but without yer bike or your gear it was a bit pointless. LOL.
The attached picture of our bikes is so that you can see we did actually venture out.
the other pic is somehting I thought you should all know about, any of you eaten at this place? see whats right next door? like yer combination meats then?
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Thanks for the company Caseye. Nice to see the boys tinkering in the shed, but I think I'll pass on the Licorice tea next time.... in fact passing it, is the appropriate action for that particular brew.
I think better weather should be ordered up for the next ride.

hi all, just a quick post about our ride from the weekend just gone,
fridayflash and myself are members of the hawkes bay classic club
and a ride was organised amongst regulars to head up to waikaremoana
lake, we headed north out of napier on the shittest, wettest, coldest
saturday morning imaginable, stopped for a re-group at the waikare pub
and then on to 'cafe 287' on the outskirts of wairoa for a spot of lunch
and a cuppa to thaw out the hands!
then after fueling up at wairoa proper we headed over to the local
british motorcycle clubhouse for a beer and a chat with the friendly
members.
then it was back out into the rain for a fairly spirited haul out to
tuai village where the road turned into an absolute mud and gravel
slurry! which was a lot of fun and kept us all on our toes and
gratefully not a single bike was dropped.
once out at the lake we all piled into our little self contained units
and switched on heaters, ovens and light bulbs in an effort to
warmup.
after a few coffees and a hot meal we headed over to the cook house
for a few beers and a catchup with the rest of team to share the tall
stories etc.
sunday morning dawned just as shite as the day before so we donned the
gear again and headed out through the slurry and over to
wairoa for lunch at oslers cafe and bakery
then the final ride back to napier at a lesiurely pace.
a great little ride and a great place to stay
we think well make it a regular winter fixture![]()

Take it easy on that next ride, we'll no doubt have some pics to add so don't forget to come have a look and of course if !? yer ever here in Dorkland definitely drop us all a line and try for a ride.
