Sorry I couldnt be there this time my wife had us booked out for lunch with friends.

T-boning a car was the reason I rebuilt the zed too, a nipper in a Honda Civic pulled out in front of me and I smashed him in the right rear quarter, I went head first through the side window and the little bastard drove off with my head still in the window

The police finally prosecuted him 2 years later, lucky I had comprehensive insurance which paid me out and chased him through the courts for the money

Funny how "luck" favors those who prepare

i seem to recall there was someone last time saying how we've been riding too often, how there needs to be a longer break between the rides

    anyone remembers this?

It's not you that needs to say "sorry" caseye.

It's the rotten cop who took my license off me when I got cramp in my throttle hand for a minute who should be apologising................ for been born

I was stopped at lights for about 20 seconds or so, wondering where the sound of the siren was coming from.:slap: The light changed green as he came around the corner into view

Only thing I learned is... to cut a track when I hear or even sniff a pig again.

    No Quota, my arse .

It's my observation that Serious crime (Murders, Crippling assaults, Rapes, Thefts and fraud) rates have run rampant every year for the last 30 years, well and truly eclipsing escalation rates of traffic infringements. (we only used to have 1 or 2 murders a year. Now it's the weekly rate)

Why isn't there a quota or bonus system for solving REAL CRIME?

I can only speculate that the reasons likely include:
    1. It's too hard .. Yeah!.. must be challenging for shitwits that are too f%@#ing retarded to look for bodies in victims cars outside a crime scene until the stink of the decayed corpse eclipses the rank smell of their own rotted brains.
    2. As a collective they profit from traffic fines resulting from persecuting soft targets and as individuals they either profit from payoffs to turn a blind eye to hard targets (real criminals) or otherwise aren't interested in pursuing them as there is no profit in it. And of course they are too busy with their own corrupt activities to waste time catching *other* rapists/assaulter/extortionists.
    3. They are scared shitless of confronting real criminals.

There was I time that I had sufficient respect for the integrity of the police to put my own life in danger to help save one of theirs when outnumbered by bad guys. (didn't even get so much as a get off free card for my trouble) There ain't any chance of that happening again as I couldn't be sure I wouldn't actually be helping a bad guy.... Frankly, I wouldn't give them the steam off my shit.

    You did ask
