WHAT:

Bikes from '70s and '80s

WHEN & WHERE:

After months of preparations and the inaugural one-off ride in June 2008, this has become a Social Group "BFTP Riders" with regular rides and larger gatherings with members from all over the NZ.
The rides are advertised through the BFTP Social Group forum and the Calendar.

We will be out there no matter what the weather (only a cyclone will stop us)

i'm aware of that event
we are likely to be only a small group and meeting for the first time so may be impractical to tie rides together this time around
maybe we can drop by at the mechanics bay though

If you are planning to do that can you please register on the event on the callander. We have to fill out an OSH form for the Helicopter base stating the number of adults and children that are going to be there.

cos i thought we might need to change the route and ride up your way to tempt you with a few burn-outs in front of your garage

Hi guys, I had my name down for this and bugger, called back to work a couple of days earlier. Oh well thats me away for a month so enjoy the ride. But I am keen to get together for another. My old girl isn´t the prettiest (bit like the rider) but it is mechanically very sound with a couple of interesting improvements. Been meaning to get onto the appearance for some time as she´s got a hideous paint job. But stands out..

exploring the roads for our ride and we're all set now, have a few options of different lenghts so will decide on the day
all nice unpopulated backroads

found a good spot in albany to meet

, caltex station on SH17 by the warehouse in albany mega centre, a covered parking nearby in case it rains

can also meet beforehand in westgate with anyone heading from that direction (like myself)
