Thanks every one in the MotoTT crew and flag marshals... Was another awesome trackday, as usualI'm definitely going to have to learn better lines, lean angles etc on the 600, but, I didn't crash and thoroughly enjoyed myself out there... So all in all... I'm stoked
After the track day yesterday and riding to Tokoroa and back through pouring rain today... I've decided to keep the 600
Hopefully see you all at the next one![]()

T'was an excellent day - I made some real progress on the '10, and surprisingly didn't button off when it got a touch damp.

Woohhhooooo
Was an awesome trackday!
The track was bit cold and got wet around the end of the day; tyres still had bit of wax around the edges and i had the worse ever ride the night before (riding in the fog with 5m visibility at night in winter for 50kms..i know: HTFU but i really hated at bikes at this moment! lol)..So did not started very well for me...
But Motel Kiwifruit is awesome and by the morning I was all ready for the track!
First sessions have been pretty slow: bike felt weird with the new tyres and new handling and had to get used to the track again...But then...I went faster and faster and finally got this right knee down!!
Best time: last session, only 7 bikes on the full track, but I did not see them, except Bigbossman that passed me first laps, I was by myself lol! You kinda asking yourself if you maybe did not see a flag or something lol!
So big thanks to MotoTT organisation, marshalls; nice to meet Peter in person, huge 'merci' to Gary and Joshua (sorry, nt sure about the spelling..) for organisng trailers so i had to ride back only from Auckland to Leigh! You rock guys!
oh and good catch up with the Taupo crew (really sexy bike Jas!)
First things first, much love to Meekey and Aero (and family) for putting me up at their place and convincing me on the day to get onto the track for the first time as I'd only actually come down to watch and not participate. Thanks a heap.
I'm with Xile concerning my opinion of heading south, it worst ride down from Auckland EVER. Riding through the fog a few hours after her left much to be desired. The only reason I made it through the fog was because I could follow car lights and even then my visor had to be up at most times as the oncoming cars would cause all sorts of sparkly effects through the condensation on the outside of my visor.
I'll be mentally preparing myself for my next time on the track and hopefully the weather will be better! The drizzle made me a tad nervous at first but it's not nearly as bad as it is on the road. It just took a few laps to build that faith as I was riding my daily commuter around the track. I guess this just means I need a race bike.![]()
any pics guys?
