    I'm in the Own-2-but-1-in-bits category as well.
    Although both of mine are in London.

    I am SORELY tempted to buy one over here:when I go out, I have to totally avoid Barrys Point Road, its too tempting

    I dunno how you bank-loan lot can cope ... I'd worry if I had a bank loan for a bike. I'd rather have the cash up front to buy an old minger of a bike, than be into the bank manager for mega-bucks on a flash bike that some arsewipe might knock me off (or, indeed, that I might just fall off, all by myself, LOL).

    Happier on old bikes than new ones, me.

    Insurance is good like that.

    I know what you mean about insurance, but its just the thought of a nice shiny new bike being hurt before its been paid for

    I own my bike at this time.

    There is a certain logic to having a loan on one though. For me, it goes like this: If I get killed on it, who cares. If it get's stolen, that's what insurance is for...
    Ride, eat, sleep, repeat!
