Yeah. A few "associates" head off up there each year.

There isn't any money used throughout the event. It is all on a trade/exchange/swap trading system.

Yeah, it's been around for a pretty long time now. Apparently it has lost much of the sparkle that it had at the start (as always happens with events like this I guess). It's the sort of thing that I wouldn't bother going to now, would rather spend my time searching out the next 'big thing' like this and get in at the grass roots.

Never trust a Hippy, or a Geek who thinks he/she is a Hippy.

Burning Man could be made a lot better with a nice precision Naplam Strike.

Yeah but the 2nd link I put up focuses on the naked chicks man.
So you see, the hippies haven't entirely lost the plot! Man.

    Naked Hippy chicks.

Last thing I need to see is a bunch of broad hipped chicks with roll mops for breasts "enjoying" the sunshine.

I'm now thinking of upgrading from Napalm to BLU96's.

    Is this computer terminology?

The place is out in the desert, so a nuke test could be done and nobody would notice.
Speaking of which. Search google earth for "Area 51" then go west a few miles. Massive craters from the underground tests. Interesting place!

No no, I think he's merely saving up "wind up" points for the next time I see him. Besides, he's grumpy because I get to go and fuck around in the desert for a week while he reboots windows boxes and gets pissy at management.

As for all the "too cool" posters. Well, maybe. There is a danger it's turned into spring break in Nevada. But I bet there's a shitload of art for me to gape at. And with the people I'm going with I'd be happy to sit on a sofa, in a desert, and talk shit for a week. But it won't be like that. It'll be cool. And you bastards will be jealous

Apologies for the quality of these. Photo'ed from a magazine article about the event.
The First is looking down on about half of the camp "city".
The other two are of a few artworks.
