2006 Suzuki SJ50 QT scooter for sale. Upsizing to a bike.
TAKEN OFF THE MARKET FOR THE MOMENT. I overestimated the health of my finances, cannot upsize to a bike yet.
It's done 4050km, bought off a dealer, 2-stroke. Has been run on Castrol TTS 2-stroke for most of the time I've had it. I've put about 900km on it. Reg til August.
Electric & Kick start. Starts first time with a wee bit of throttle. Very little smoke when starting.
Costs very little to run. 4L fuel tank. You will find fuel consumption to be better on longer trips, so that the engine can warm up.
It's derestricted. Will go 65kph on the flat given enough room, at full throttle, though happy at 55. I've had a go on mate's scooters, this one is quicker & lighter than the Hyosung that I tried.
Bodywork has a few scratches, most of which were there when I bought it.
*Some on both side skirtings on the side of the foot area (on both sides)
*One little bit (about 1 square cm) of side skirting chipped off at some point (though I didnt even notice this until I went looking tonight)
*4 Minor white scratches above front wheel on red front fairing. (You can see some of these in photo)
*Right mirror is helped to stay on with tape and has glue marks on it. Because of this it does not adjust.
I would describe the bodywork as tidy. Seat in good condition. Covered by a waterproof cover every night.

Test rides okay. Located in Nelson.
Room for a full-face helmet + gloves under seat. Upholstery good.
