Thumbs up Triumph that runs on apples

Hey all, I was wondering is anyone else has read the article in the latest Bike Rider magazine. It's about the 675 Daytona that they have got running on Bioethanol that will do 255km/h. How cool is that! 'It may be time to start making, that there moon shine stuff, and get a real kick in the shorts' Anyone tried to make a biofuel? and if so how did you get on? (if you are still around to tell the story)

Ethanol is dead easy. Just ramp up your existing reflux still for making vodka/whiskey to near to 100% as you can, and dry the ethanol with zeolite.
You gotta change your carb jets to run properly on it, and make sure your seals and hoses are ethanol-resistant (or change them over) and you get only half the mileage from a tank. But it's easy, and almost free. Just takes time.

Yeah. Those 675s are just peachy and ripe for experimentation. They've been the apple of eye for some time. The reds Delicious but might be even better looking in orange.

You guys need to ask Sidecar Bob about a new technology that uses gas from water to increase your fuel efficiency by 100-200-250% ....... he's the guru!

    Part way through it.

I was interested in the bit where they did the dyno runs but the exhaust fumes made them feel sick. In the particular workshop, fitted with big extractor fans, that just doesn't occur with normal fuel.
