Err, usually when life really throws shit at me I have one night where i'll drink like an absolute cunt, take a look at myself and how fucking pathetic you lookwhen you're drunk, and then I just feel I have to make a change to get out of this situation, and the next day (maybe the one after that if I can hardly walk) I start making action to get myself out of the hole i'm in.

It's worked everytime so far.. Worked last night beautifully actually.

I don't have much resilience, so I take Prozac. Works for me.

    My father.

Since his passing I have changed sooo much… when he was alive if it got tough for me he would be right at my side… now that he has passed away its something deep in me, that I need to hold my head up high and make him proud. So even in death he carries me through.

Mine doesn't come from anywhere. It's just there and it is awesome. There's no great motivation I use ... it's just a case of the emotions slipping into the background for a time (which happens automatically) and getting down and doing what needs to be done regardless of how bad or unpleasant the situation. I guess part of it is also just accepting responsibility for being the one to fix things be it at home, at work or even in totally random situations like at a road accident.

You have answered your own question.

It's from correctly channeled anger. Misdirected anger results in someone else being held accountable for our failure, and then the idea of how we are victimised sets in, then we imobilize, then all we can see is "how it is everyone elses fault."

Correctly channeled anger says "thats the last fucken time that will happen" and then we change - not until.

And we try to change things about ourselves that we can actually change, not other people.

So get angry! Don't get even - it's not anyones fault but our own. Get ONTO IT.

I farken can't stand that guy

Where does my strength come from? Deep within and it is hard to grasp when I'm tired or being pulled in too many directions. But at the end of the day having a kid seems to do a lot for it, I used to be pretty apathetic and enjoyed being a slack arse (though I always had goals and a bit of a plan) now I catch my self regularly saying - well if you don't do it now you'll just have to do it later. Sometimes I want to climb under a quiet rock and sleep or just be totally and completely selfish switching off to all else except my own mind. Then I go for a ride ahhhhhhhhhh

Bishop my arse more like raving lunatic spouting bullshit. Infact he reminds me somewhat of the guys that starred with Pam Corkery the other night. Suitably vague and apparently 'altruistic'.
