    MOTOequip T.K.R.J pistons

Two race seasons ago I was sponsored a T.K.R.J piston kit from MOTOequip
    which is our own TonyB.
After a piston failed TonyB gave me this piston kit, the barrel was honed and the kit fitted.
Two full on race seasons later which includes Teretonga, Levels, Ruapuna, Greymouth street race and nelson street races and this piston that was fitted to a worked MB100 engine a F4 race bike with TZR250 carb, RG250 reed block and a violent chamber, all which must be pulling 50-100% more power than Mr Honda designed.. I decided to strip the top end down.

Well to my surprise there is no wear marks no obvious stress damage to the T.K.R.J MOTOequip piston what so ever. There was a creamy covering to the top of the piston due to running a leaded fuel Avgas, this cleaned of easy and left was a piston similer to the new one I fitted two years ago.

I also run T.K.R.J MOTOequip supplyed piston kits in a RD250LC on recent strip down there also was no sign of wear.

All in all, I highley recommend these piston kits from http://www.motoequip.co.nz/Parts.htm
