Youll only need the Friday off cause Monday is Labour day, or do you work week ends

I try to avoid working weekends. The idea of having the week off after the GC was so I could muck around at home a bit too. So if I do the 4 points that week I may just have to take another week off...for mucking around you see.

After many hours (read minutes) agonizing over whether or not to do this four points thingy i've decided to flag it in favor of having continuing work on the bike and hopefully but doubtfully having some money at xmas time, work has informed us all that it will be a four week break this year, man am I gonna be skint when I get back to work next year...

Yeah I think so too,it's not the distance putting me off it's just a financial thing coupled with the fact that there are some things a really want to do to the bike , i've had it for a while now and have'nt gotten very far with that yet and would'nt mind seeing a bit of it sorted before xmas, pretty sure i'll still have it come the next four points anyway but no time like the present..

thats a real shame sarge. bugger feeling the pinch. Hopefully there will be a lotto win in your near future and you will change your mind.

Yeah it is a bummer but such is life, gotta think a bit longer term if I want to get any decent milage over xmas, gotta think about rubber for the car too.
Speaking of xmas, a scoot through the east cape or at least part of might be an idea, plenty of time to sort that anyway.
You guys will have a blast and it'll be sweet if you fulla's hook up with some of the northerners on the way.
At least you have to listen to me bitching about how sore backside is from riding the bike all day.

This IS a goodie, and have completed it twice - I like the way you can plan more when you do each leg; I'll prolly be a starter, but need to confirm some other events first. Being based in Matiere now will change the approach.................and a change is as good as a rest !
