    Anything happening?

    Hi Girlz,

Haven't been online for a while (almost a year, I think - or longer?) Anyway, is there anything happening before or after Xmas? How about Xmas coffee at the NorWester in Amberley Tuesday (22) or Wednesday (23) and a ride?

    Leather pants

    Hi Gals,
I'm hanging out for a cooler pair of pants to wear that are slightly armoured - I'm riding in a pair of dry riders with the lining zipped out but on even slightly warm days they just stick to me and I can't get them up and down to go to the loo for goodness sake! And actually they stick to me so badly that after walking round for a while I have to do a little dance to wriggle the knees up to the right place and even then I'm totally uncomfy riding. I'm not brave enough to ride in just jeans anymore. I've seen a heap on-line and read all the recommendations for QMoto and Draggin on here but sizing is so confusing it would just be easier to try them on. Is there anywhere in CHCH that has stock to try on?
    Thanks a bunch
    x

Hi JB Hampton Honda have some really nice jeans, with leather patches on them, look really nice and are Kevlar lined at the knee, bum and thighs ...
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.

Oh no what have I started now? Thought I knew what I wanted and now I've tried on all these different pants and totally confused myself. Think Hamptons jeans win so far but I'm not convinced they'll fit over my boots so have to go back tomorrow... Didn't try on the Draggin in the end because they don't have kevlar shells on the knees and I think I really want the extra protection. And also tried on some leathers but couldn't get a comfy fit - i know leathers won't be that cool but they seem the most protection and at least they won't stick to me. So might try the leather shops tomorrow. Was totally surprised at how much there is to choose from!
Cutie-pie shop guy in Pitlane too - does he belong to anyone??? Think he might have served me when I went in for my new battery last year - anyone need anything I can pick up from them
Thanks for suggestions - keep you posted when I finally choose...

I bought my leather pants at leather image on Fitzgerald Ave. They even took the legs up and put the zips back in the right place. I had a hang of a job finding pants to fit. The armour was always in the wrong place. Even the short legged pants were to long.
