: ) Just saw it in my inbox tonight so will have to try and wangle my way out of work - thought it would be a great way to meet some of the other girls too
My complete lack of riding skills don't phase me too much, I just bumble about and grin but I am always up for improving

speaking of mainland courses i thought i'd let y'all know there is a mainland twilight course at Ruapuna on the 8th of Feb from 4.45pm till 8. It is for all stlyes of bikes but only riders that are at full licence level. This is not suitable for total novice riders. It is aimed to improve your corning skills and we will use A and B track to increase track time

its $75 and there is a good chance you will be covered by your insurance

mainland will also be running other twilight course aimed at a more learner level.

I'm not a girl, but LOL, yeah a few have and it was highly rated, any of these courses run at Ruapuna I reconmend. IMO they should be mandatory in gaining a class 6 licence.

Hi Kit, I done the one they had in October (a half day for that one) and I thought it was great. I had only had my licence about 3 weeks when I done this and it helped me immensely. They covered things like cornering, lines and braking. There was some track time as well where they let us out on the track to practice things we had just learned. It is definitely worth the money and I'll be along for the next one too!

I'm sure some of the other ladies will tell you about their experiences!

Just re-read your post so had to edit this!

The wed night rides can be daunting but I'm at the back anyways so I don't have to worry. Best of luck on Monday, you'll be fine!

I am hoping that Monday will help, a whole day is a little daunting

Thanks for that! I've done one before with brian bernard, and it was great. Am looking forward to doing this one with Karel.
