    That was awsoooooooooooooooooooooooooooome!!!
Thanks heaps to instructors and Stephen for oraganising this!!

Altho on the way back it was crazy.
Me and Dushy stuck at intersection and everyone just left, I was thinking that everyone gonna goto mission bay so I followed Dushy to motorway.

Then he kept going in like 80kmph... I thought I better catch up with other guys so I overtook him and try to catch up but couldn't see anyone so I backed off and wait for Dushy.

Then he overtook me, and then he start to sit 80kmph in overtake lane!!!!

There were few cars trying to overtake us and one boyracer was tailgating him pretty hard, so I try to give him a sign he gotta move to other lane but it didn't really work...

EDIT: After that was riding few cars behind Dushy, then guy in people mover try to squeeze into my lane, probly because he didnt see me or something...

I catch up with Dushy, he told me no ones going to mission bay, he left, then I thought maybe I'll just go and see whos there.

On the way there there was one narrow corner in one of the road leads to Tamaki drive, Boyracer overtook me!!! Maybe it was my fault that I wasn't in left lane but WTF!!!!

That time I really wish I had faster bike and catch him up and kick his door at stop or something eh....

If true ("80kph in fast lane"), & in a 100kph part of motorway, that sounds like a pretty retarded thing to do. Why wouldn't you expect motorists to get pissed off?

Banzai...don't go telling lies now. You need to learn to ride safely on the motorway. I was staying in the slow lane for the majority but got stuck behind a campervan so overtook that and in the process over took you who for some reason thought it was a race or something with cars and for the wind and crappy visibility and rain etc were pulling some stupid constant lane changes between vehicles.

I winced a few times when you weren't looking where you were going. You turned around and looked behind you for like ten seconds to see where i was.

I didn't know what the hell you were doing so I decided I would be safer riding my own pace. THe only time I was in the fast lane was when ovetaking the camper van and yes the boy racer overtook me at like 140.

If I know everyone was not going to Mission bay I did ride in my pace too
(Today's lesson "Tell people where to meet, where everyone is going" )

You did kept riding in 80k in overtaking lane. My speedo was saying 80kmph when I was following you.

Meh, anyway it wasn't really nice riding back. Saw few crazy drivers and pedestrians in town too.

    Anyway heres some pics!!

Will post all the photos I took sometime later. I'm so tired and I'm going to taupo tomorrow so I'm gonna have early night today hehehe

which intersection? all you guys made a pretty slow pace thru that open road bit (gotta love that corner with all the metal plates) but i thought i waited for everyone at that right hander onto upper harbour highway.

you must've missed dushi calling it off - though to be fair it was on, off, on, off, on then off again.

saw you pass under me when i was on the lincon rd overpass - that orange fluro really makes you stick out

(not wanting to nit-pick here, but perhaps you and dushi are making a good advertisement against learners going (unsupervised) over 70kph/on the motorway. try not to impede other vehicles unless you're in the left lane, in traffic like that you should always check over your shoulder before changing lanes to clear your blind spots and alert cagers to your intentions, and always keep an eye on the traffic ahead - auckland motorways have a habit of coming to abrupt stops for little or no reason with little or no warning)

afterthought: i thought the course might've included a bit about general surviving in traffic rather than just the open riding & emergency stopping stuff

Haha don't worry andrew, I do know how to ride on a motorway. Banzai, stop nit picking on my riding, what your speedo says and what mine says can be different but I was keeping up with and passing traffic. More concentrating on your own riding and less on others.
