My thoughts exactly, where is safer than a huge runway to do some harmless little powerstands?! I guess they have liability issues but ehy could always get us to sign something that says its not their fault if we die

The course run to help improve your riding skills/break bad habits. Not so you can play on the runway.
If you were to mess up a wheelie, not only would paper have to be filled out, it would tarnish the day and waste time as we picked up your bike and sorted out how to get it home. Don't say "i dont mess them up", it has happened, and if true, you dont need a runway to do them on.
http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=56 i believe you'll find some places to practise in those threads

If true ("80kph in fast lane"), & in a 100kph part of motorway, that sounds like a pretty retarded thing to do.
the implication of the second quote is...?

Sorry for the first part Uncle Squiggles.
Second part: pretty obvious I would have thought. If someone was riding 20kph below the speed limit in the fast lane when there are other lanes available to sit in at slower speeds, why would you hold up traffic and piss people off? (these were the conditions/facts described when I made the comment).

I agree that its a bad idea, your implication was that it was "not the place" to be riding at that speed Others may disagree. Just as i dont believe the course was the place for tricks, and others will disagree.

Oh, and you'd be one of the few in the club old enough to be an uncle

I have to say, red's pretty hot.

But I have to add after RSS, I've learnt that the 929 got heaps of balls and that I need to grow some bigger balls.
