    Hey TS

I think I met you at Tokaanu? You seemed as nice as everyone else? But thats not the point. It's a pity about the bike, but it will be fixed/replaced and as I know, this shit happens. Hell, from memory you've been riding for a shorter time than I have, so noone, or I certainly don't think any worse of you for crashing. You do sound to be a much better rider than me, but that doesn't change that you are still relatively inexperienced. I think your skill advantage over me comes from not being afraid of anything. I am, I'm terrified about what lurks on each corner of every road. If I could overcome that fear, and just trust that the bike will perform like I know it will, then I too could possibly become a whole lot faster and more skilled. At the level you ride, this sort of shit (the bin) is likely to happen more often, and on a bad ass 600 like yours, a whole lot faster.

But the way I see it, you're one lucky mofo. If I've read correctly you've recently found a new partner? Hell, you'd be suprised how many people have it wayyyy worse than you dude. My advice is relax, get the bike sorted and enjoy the new relationship. Life is so fucking short, it will scare the shit out of you when the years start to tick by faster and faster (yes I know, I'm 24, still young, but the scary thing is, the years are ALREADY ticking by pretty quick, with little to enjoy or show for them).

    Find your inner chi

True about TS's inexperience. However, who's to say how the crash happened. For all we know, it could have happened just as easily to anyone including a lot more experienced riders out here.

I don't think he goes quick by being fearless. Heck, you get killed that way. I reckon fear is essential when riding quick, it keeps you alive. However, understanding the concept of riding (all the physics involved with it) in your head, processing all that info quickly while you are riding on the limit and THEN overcomming your fears will make you a safe (er) quick rider.

I have ridden with TS a lot and I know that he's a good safe rider. I'll let him borrow my bike anytime anywhere and I have complete faith in him.

Everynow and then when you do ride as quick as some of us do, SHIT HAPPENS!!!

I do have a problem with you TS. Not only are you a rabbi, you also affix some strange suffix to your name - or should that be suffix some strange...

While my better instincts counsel me to follow a policy of laissez-faire, there are a couple of Rabbi Two Smoker, Esq.'s statements I feel I cannot let pass. Although not without overlap and simplification, I plan to identify three primary positions on Two Smoker's arguments. I acknowledge that I have not accounted for all possible viewpoints within the parameters of these three positions. Nevertheless, I have reason to believe that Two Smoker is about to scar little children's self-image. I pray that I'm wrong, of course, because the outcome could be devastating. Nevertheless, the indications are there that I want to make this clear, so that those who do not understand deeper messages embedded within sarcastic irony -- and you know who I'm referring to -- can process my point. Now that I've stated that, allow me to say that gruesome nose-in-the-air snobs are more susceptible to his brainwashing tactics than are any other group. Like water, their minds take the form of whatever receptacle Two Smoker puts them in. They then lose all recollection that Two Smoker's list of sins is long and each one deserves more space than I have here. Therefore, rather than describe each one individually, I'll summarize by stating that we were put on this planet to be active, to struggle, and to break the neck of his policy of irrationalism once and for all. We were not put here to discredit legitimate voices in the cameralism debate, as Two Smoker might suspect. As another disquieting tidbit, the following must be stated: There is something grievously wrong with those dictatorial freaks who empty the meaning of such concepts as "self," "justice," "freedom," and other profundities. Shame on the lot of them!

Do you understand the implications of what I have been telling you? Are you awake? Then you probably realize that Two Smoker's apologues are designed to destroy the heart and fabric of our nation. And they're working; they're having the desired effect.

Don't be fooled: The fact of the matter is that those of us whose minds are not narcotized still remember Two Smoker's frequent outbreaks of savagery. But there's the rub; conversations with Two Smoker are no more intellectual than a game of darts at the local pub. As long as I live, I will be shouting this truth from rooftops and doing everything I can to give Two Smoker condign punishment. More prosaically, I overheard one of his votaries say, "Neocolonialism is a noble goal." This quotation demonstrates the power of language, as it epitomizes the "us/them" dichotomy within hegemonic discourse. As for me, I prefer to use language to act as a positive role model for younger people. Two Smoker's reason is not true reason. It does not seek the truth, but only hotheaded answers, debauched resolutions to conflicts. Doubtlessly, Two Smoker is careless with data, makes all sorts of causal interpretations of things without any real justification, has a way of combining disparate ideas that don't seem to hang together, seems to show a sort of pride in his own biases, gets into all sorts of sexist speculation, and then makes no effort to test out his speculations -- and that's just the short list! In conclusion, let me just say that to Rabbi Two Smoker, Esq., acting like foul-mouthed, worthless nincompoops is a lot of fun.*

Heh... I have no idea what that just said about you, mainly because I didnt bother to read it. In truth brother, you is one kickass mate to have had around for the last two decades or so - that makes us sound damn old - even if I dont remember anything in the first 5 years of it

I dont think that this is the right place for me to discuss past events, and I have no idea how much you want to reveal, if anything more at all. Keeping that in mind, I will just stay mum on it. You know that you have my support if you want to call on it, and that you can meet me for a ride/chat/drinks/whatever anytime, what with me being an unemployed layabout

Well said MR. TS rides fast at times and I am sure he understands the risks he takes doing so. I would rate him as a safer rider than myself - but then it aint saying much - even with the speeds he sometimes does. However, in saying that, people who can ride quick don't always do so. In this last incident, we weren't riding quickly as a group, but basically, shit happened.

He has been horribly unlucky recently, and I keep telling him it is the suzukis that make the problems The kwaka has never treated him badly...

Fu*k that took a lot of reading.

Well I think this calls for Monty Pyton's "Got To Look On The Bright Side Of Life" and a round of "Pan-Gallatic-Gargle-Blasters".

Chin-up Chris. We'll all full of shit on here. Don't let wankers get the better of you.

There are two types of problems in the World.
Your problems and other people's problems.
If other people have a problem with you, that is their problem.
Don't make other people's problems yours.
You have enough problems of your own.
Only they can truely fix their problems (as only you can choose to deal with your own).
Is OK to be there for them or feel sorry for them or even be pissed off with them (hey that's your choice), but unless they choose to deal with their problems, you will not be able to.

Well I have this fantastic idea. We have a humungus KB ride. All put in $5/head for the Jello wrestling festival between Riff Raff and Lucyloo, whereby they get all the proceeds (or they could put it on the bar). For an extra $1 we get to watch them hose each other down. Maybe others might like to wrestle too?
