The biker & waether goddesses have been so good to me! (love that new dancin' banana Wari!)

Time to go to bed soon...I am aching but happy, happy, happy.

Oh yeah - too much stoopid grit in paces! Eeeeeeppppp!
Tomorrow's scenery through Haast is even more spectacular. You'll love it.

Fox to Oamaru is a good 7 hour ride on a sports/tourer, probably 8 hours or more on your bike. Are you intending entering the Southern Cross now that you are in training for endurance rides?

    Weather report

Hey, Its just started raining down here. The first rain we've had for over 3 weeks. Absolutely fantastic.

Just watch the corners down the coast and through Haast CSL. with no rain for so long they can be quite slippery for the first day or so. Take care.

Hi CSL - great to hear things are (mainly....sorry about the sidecover!) going well. You are doing some long distances - you'll be wanting to upgrade - I can recommend a Ducati Monster (or 2) for touring..!

    Keep us posted!

Glad you are having a Stella time. I'm off to the SI tomorrow so it's getting me all excited like. See you on the ferry.

Beer. Eventually every thread turns to beer. On the West Coast CSL should be having a Monteiths time...

She'd made Wanaka for lunch today after riding down the coast in the rain and she's planning on heading your way after Oamaru and Dunedin,so if it all goes well you can expect a visit

I'll write up about it later. Pissing down from Fox to Haast and then still wet until Wanaka. Dried out in Wanaka and rode thorugh to Oamaru via Waimate (Yes I did visit Bootsy HR, it was good to see him and the Guzzi in bits). Onto Oamaru for a hot shower, roast lamb and a good catch up with some dear friends. I'm only going to Dunedin today but tomorrow oe Thursday my sister & I will go for a bit of a ride down South to visit some of you KBers from down those parts.

PM and we can sus out a meeting day/time. Until I get to Dunedin I won't know which day we're heading down and it will just be a day trip.

The bike is going so well. Cruising along very nicely at 120 some parts (oh the speed!!!). Most annoying thing that happened yesterday was getting stuck behind some ignorant wanker in an older model Subaru crusing up the Lindis Pass at 70!!! He wouldn't pull over at all. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Beautiful, gorgeous, lovely & stunning...breath taking actually. It was so amazing noticing the contrast in terrain & vegetation from The Haast Pass through to the Lindis Pass. I had a smile on my face for a lot of the way yesterday as I recalled years earlier (before I ever owned a bike) thinking how awesome it would be to zoom along the Lindis Pass on a motorbike! And now I have! Wow!!

I noticed by the end of yesterday I really needed spme compnay b/c I had started tooting at the cows & bulls as I rode passed to keep myself amused. Tee hee!!!

Ok better go. Hope to see some more of you soon & here's hoping my photos have worked out.
